Acardel

Today was my sons birthday. We ended up going to this little place called Go Play Cafe. It’s like the old Leaps and Bounds places I went to when I was a kid. A crap ton of slides, and tunnels. It was pretty neat. He had a really good time. A few people from his preschool class showed up, so that was nice. Everybody went all out and got him all kinds of presents, as always. He had a blast. And the good thing was we didn’t have to go to Chuck E. Cheese this year. That place bugs the life out me. I don’t mind kids, well, I don’t mind my kids. Every other kid on the face of the planet bothers me. So, when you shove a bunch of them together in one place, all running around like mad men, hyped up on cake and birthday presents, they are just insane. But, this place we went to was much smaller and more laid back. They only have enough room to do one party at a time, so it was just our people. At one point I was even talked into climbing up in the tubes. I was too fat for that, but I made it out alive.

All in all it was a great day though. A little cold outside, and some crappy weather, but oh well. At least it didn’t get cancelled or pushed back this year.
