Something about myself that has always bugged me is that I am not very handy around the house. If something breaks I just say forget it, and buy a new one. But, all my friends are always saying I waste too much money that way and I could have just fixed something instead of getting rid of it all together. But, that’s just how I do things. I keep turning on these channels that I think are going to be a show about home improvement, but it turns out they are just doing that thing where they buy fixer upper houses, and sell them for a big profit. I love to watch them, but I wish they would show me more of how they do things. Those type of shows just are not on tv that much anymore. So, I decided to find a site with a communtiy of people that know what they are doing. I love posting on forums and talking to people that have actually done things that I would like to do. Alot of them suggested buying some do it yourself type DVDs, but after all, knowledge is power, and the more I learn, obviously the better chance that I will actually be able to do something myself. So, I have decided that I’m going to get myself some DVDs and see what I can do. I’m sure it’ll probably take some time, but it will be worth it. It will feel good to actually do something myself.
